De vereniging bestaat al lang! Ze werd opgericht in 1989 onder de naam Europees Figurenteatercentrum vzw. Pas in 2026 kreeg ze de naam Puppetbuskers vzw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Doelstelling<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Puppetbuskers vzw heeft als belangeloos doel het bevorderen, promoten en ondersteunen van poppen- en figurentheater in al zijn vormen. De vereniging wil zich tevens profileren als expertisecentrum en deze expertise voortdurend ontwikkelen en delen met de internationale community van beoefenaars van poppen- en figurentheater. Om haar doel te bereiken, kan de vereniging alle middelen en kanalen gebruiken die zij nuttig acht en onder meer maar niet beperkend voorstellingen, workshops en tentoonstellingen organiseren; artiesten in residentie nemen; en festivals organiseren. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De meest recente versie van de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.companyweb.be\/company\/0444114104\/free-pub\/25641860\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">statuten<\/a> werd goedgekeurd op de AV van 30\/1\/2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr
